These terms govern your use of PickMyWine. By signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What PickMyWine is

PickMyWine is an iOS application that uses an AI model to suggest wines based on information you provide. Recommendations are an editorial opinion, not a guarantee. Wines we suggest may be out of stock, misidentified, or different from what you expect, and your enjoyment of any specific bottle is subjective.

2. Age and responsible use

You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use PickMyWine. We are an information service, not a vendor — we do not sell wine and we do not deliver it. You are responsible for your own alcohol consumption and for purchasing through licensed retailers and restaurants.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method (Apple ID, email) secure. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, contact us at info@cgsoftwaresolutions.org.

4. Free and paid use

The app offers a small number of free recommendations on a lifetime basis. Beyond that, recommendations require a subscription or a one-off scan pack, each purchased through the App Store.

4.1 Auto-renewing subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you turn auto-renew off through your App Store account at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple account is charged on confirmation of purchase and on each renewal. Prices may vary by region. Subscriptions are managed in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

4.2 Scan packs

Scan packs are one-off purchases that grant a fixed number of personalised recommendations. Pack credits do not expire. They are non-refundable except where required by law or by Apple's refund policy.

5. Content from you

When you photograph a wine list, label, or shelf, you confirm that you have the right to do so (for example, you are physically in the venue, you are not violating any house rules, and you are not infringing anyone else's intellectual property). We do not assert ownership of your photographs — they are processed only to produce a recommendation.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for commercial scraping or to build a competing wine database.
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Use the app on behalf of anyone under the legal drinking age.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties that recommendations will be perfect, that wines will be in stock, that information about a bottle is accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. AI-generated recommendations are not professional sommelier advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of PickMyWine is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including bad bottles, ruined dinners, or hangover regret.

9. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. If we make a material change that affects paid features, we will tell you. If you do not agree, you may stop using the app and request a prorated refund for unused subscription time where applicable.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account by writing to info@cgsoftwaresolutions.org. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed with counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there, except where consumer protection laws grant you additional rights.
